Linkage

Drawbar eye Ø 40mm

Standard equipment. Can be mounted at two different coupling heights (50 cm and 72,5cm).

Scharmüller coupling Ø 80mm. Optional for Maistro CC.

Lockable storage compartment

Large storage compartment. Sealed against dust and splash water.


Fertilizer hopper 2 800 l

Metering is carried out by the well-proven HORSCH metering unit in combination with the DrillManager ME.


General

Fertilizer unit (pneumatic system)

Pneumatic Ø 110 mm for Maistro 6CC - 8CC.
Pneumatic Ø 140 mm for Maistro 8CC 12-row and Maistro 8 RC.


Hydr. fan drive axial piston pump

Direct drive with:
5 cm³ oil motor for Maistro 6 CC and 8 CC. Required oil quantity approx. 20l/min.
10 cm³ oil motor for Maistro 8 CC 12-row. Required oil quantity approx. 40 l/min.

The hydr. drive of the seed units is connected in series with the fan direct drive.


Bout markers

In normal operation they are controlled automatically via the DrillManager when lifting/lowering the machine.
An obstacle and a headlands mode can be selected as a special function.


Seed planter

Single grain unit

Very robust and heavy unit.
Coulter pressure up to 300 kg possible.
Seed and fertilizer discs are controlled by the same parallelogram. The result is that the distance between seed and fertilizer always remains constant.


Double disc coulter

Heavy double disc coulter Ø 37 cm with maintenance-free bearing.
Forms an exact furrow where the seed is placed.
On the outside, the discs are cleaned via the depth control wheels - on the inside via a scraper.


Seed depth adjustment

is made by adjusting the depth control wheels. From  1.5 cm to 9 cm sowing depth in steps of 0.5 cm.
Both depth control wheels of one seed coulter are connected by a swing adjustment and, thus, can level unevennesses of the soil.

Scraper depth control rolls
Optional - has to indicated on the order. Prevent the soil from sticking to the depth control wheels in wet conditions and, thus, allow for an exact depth placement.


Press wheels

The pressure on the seed row can be adjusted in four steps from 8 to 55 kg.
The press wheels are arranged as a V to guarantee a safe closing of the seed furrow.
Due to the V-shape the seed is not only pressed vertically, but also from both sides. This has a positive influence on a quick emergence.


Fertilizer unit

Double disc coulter with stable, maintenance-free bearing.
The depth of the discs and the seed coulter is controlled exactly via a parallelogram.
The adjusted distance between seed and fertilizer is always kept up exactly.
The fertilizer is placed in a band next to the seed band. The lateral distance and the depth can be adjusted via long holes in the fixing flanges.


Coulter pressure adjustment

is made via tension springs in a parallelogram. Via the perforated strips the pre-tension can be adjusted to a coulter pressure of up to 300 kg.

With ground drive = 2 springs up to app. 150 kg
With body retraction = 3 springs up to app. 225 kg
With hydr. drive = 4 springs up to app. 300 kg


Mechanic grain singling

Finger-Pick-Up. Very simple and precise singling.
Very simple handling as there are only very few adjustment possibilities.


Metering unit

After the metering the conveyor belt takes up the grains, steadies the transport and puts them into the fall tube with the correct spacing.


Fall tube

Falling direction and placement of the grains is determined by the special shape of the fall tube. Due to the solid design of the singling unit the fall tube is relatively long (45 cm).

Seed quantity control
Optical sensor which measures the seed flow and, thus, controls the singling.
6 to 12 CC: Standard equipment
8 RC: Optional
8 RC Solo: Optional


Hydr. drive for seed units

Standard equipment for Maistro CC and Maistro 8 RC.

In case of fan direct drive: connected in series with it (standard for CC / optional for 8 RC).

With fan pto-shaft drive: an additional control device at the tractor is necessary (optional: only for 8 RC).

For Maistro RC Solo only possible when attached to a seed waggon SW 3500 S and the DrillManager. The seed size (grains/ha) is adjusted via the DrillManager and can be re-adjusted at the push of a button while driving.


Height adjustment seed bar

The height of the seed bar can be adjusted via spacer clips at the lifting cylinders of the chassis.
The seed bar should be adjusted in such a way that the parallelograms of the single grain units are horizontal in working position. 


Options

Hydr. filling auger

For filling the fertilizer hopper at the seed waggon. Output 400 kg/min.


Trash wheels

Remove stones, rough lumps and any remaining organic material from the seed horizon.


Row shut-off incl. ATS

For Maistro RC Solo only when attached to seed waggon SW 3500 S and DrillManager.
Possibility of row shut-off from the terminal by magnetic couplings.
The row shut-off can be made from the outside to the inside. Moreover, a tramline system can be programmed via the DrillManager.


Micro-granular unit

Not possible for Maistro 8 CC 12-row (50cm).
Allows for placing the micro-granulate together with the seed directly into the seed furrow. The metering is carried out mechanically and is connected with the singling drive of the Maistro via a chain (with a corresponding gearing combination).


Tyres 15.5/80 R24

Not available for Maistro 8 CC 12-row.
With these tyres - and a row spacing of  75 cm - the transport wheel does not run on a maize row.


Parts for 40 km/h authorization

If the Maistro CC has to be authorized for 40 km/h on public roads, additional equipment parts are necessary (e.g. fenders for chassis, signs 40 km/h, ...).
