Equipment

Linkage

Discharge of the remaining quantity

Standard equipment for all Pronto models. Allows for an almost complete discharge of the hoppers.
Only a very low seed and/or fertilizer quantity has to be discharged via the metering unit.

Tool hitch

3-point linkage framen

Via the linkage frame for example a tyre packer with TurboDisc seed bar can be attached beside the Maistro 8 RC.

Chassis

Tyres seed waggon

Tyre size 800/40-26.5 12TR.
Very wide tyres with high carrying capacity. They also preserve the soil on the headlands.

General

Hydr. fan pto-drive

If the output of the hydraulic pump of the tractor is too low or if there is a danger of oil getting mixed if more tractors are used, pto-drive has to be preferred.
For pto-drive always 11 cm³ gear pump.

Hydr. fan drive axial piston pumps

Direct drive with 5 cm³ oil motor for Pronto 6 DC and Pronto 6 AS single hopper.
Direct drive with 10 cm³ oil motor for Pronto 3 to 6 DC/AS with double hopper, Pronto 7 to 9 DC and Pronto 8 to 12 SW with single hopper.
Direct drive with 19 cm³ oil motor for Pronto 8 to 12 SW with PPF.

Hydr. drive Maistro

If a Maistro 8 RC is to be attached behind the seed waggon, the hydr. fan drive has to be ordered with a preparation kit for the Maistro. The hydr. fan direct drive and the hydr. drive of the Maistro are connected in series.

DiscSystem

2-row DiscSystem

The discs are always mounted in pairs on one shaft, thus allowing for a large clearance.
Ideal for mulch seed as resistant to cloggings.
Mounted in absolutely maintenance-free and very wide rubber elements. Prevents the setting angle of the discs from changing in hard soil conditions.

Working depth adjustment DiscSystem

The working depth of the DiscSystem is adjusted hydraulically and and can be adjusted while driving.
The driver can see the position of the DiscSystems on a scale at the machine.

Discs Ø 46 cm

Serrated discs easier penetrate the soil.
Due to the small diametre the discs turn very fast, thus facilitating the production of fine earth.
The considerable curve of the disc improves the mixing effect and the power requirement is lower than for a straight disc.

Spade discs

Run in each disc row on the outside.
They prevent that too much soil is transported to the edge plates.
They prevent the forming of ridges and allow for an optimum continuation.

Maintenance-free oil-bath bearing

Low-wear disc bearing. Double roller ball bearing filled with oil and with slide ring sealing.

Packer

PU (Poly-Urethan) tyre filling

For chassis and intermediate axle packer.
Recommended on sites where the tyres could be damaged by stones, thorns etc.
Does not affect the millability and thus the self-cleaning effect of the tyre. Increases the weight per tyre by approx. 42 kg for tyre size 7.50-16 AS and by 22 kg for 185/65-15 AS.

Coulter bar

TurboDisc seed coulter

Controlled by press wheels with a soil adjustment of +/- 7,5 cm. Adapts optimally to the soil contours.
Designed for exact seed placement at high speeds. Allows for a secure and even emergence due to a perfect embedding of the seed and an immediate seed-soil contact.

Maintenance-free rubber bearing
Overload protection and shock absorber which guarantees smooth running of the seed coulters even at very high speeds.

Uniformer and scraper

Uniformer: fixes the seed in the seed furrow and prevents it from being blown out by high air quantities.
Scraper: carbide-covered and self-adjusting. Keeps the space between the discs clean and prevents cloggings.

Press-wheel controlled seed harrow

Mounted at the „short“ TurboDisc seed coulters. The depth of each harrow element is individually controlled by the press wheel even in uneven soils. The harrow guarantees that the seed is covered even on heavy soils.

Press wheels 5 cm

Standard. Recommended on medium and heavy soils.
Equipped as standard with carbide-covered scrapers. Soil does not build up - the outer diametre of the wheels thus always stays the same, and the seed depth cannot change.

Mechanical coulter pressure adjustment

The pre-tension of the rubber elements is steplessly adjustable up to max. 120 kg per coulter via a crank.

Seed depth adjustment

Is made centrally via spacer clips at the hydr. upper link of the 3-point linkage frame. The longer the upper link setting the deeper the seed placement and vice versa.

Hydr. working depth adjustment of the DiscSystems

The working depth can be adjusted steplessly while driving. The driver can see the position of the DiscSystem on a scale at the machine.

Seed distribution tower

The Pronto 6 AS has a seed distribution tower which is placed directly above the seed bar and is easily accessible.
The seed tubes can be laid relatively short and steeply dropping towards the TurboDisc seed coulters, thus reducing the clogging tendency.

Mechanical half-width shut-off

Optional. Only available for the seed side. Is integrated into the cover of the distribution tower. The cover plate has to be turned manually to block the respective half of the machine.
The seed size has to be reduced manually by 50% at the terminal.

Maize distributor double row

Not available with electric half-width shut-off.

The maize distributor allows for sowing maize with a larger row spacing of 15 cm.

The maize distributor is placed on the distribution tower and only equipped with the number of exits which are necessary for sowing maize.

The seed tubes leading to the respective TurboDisc seed coulters are simply connected with the exits of the maize distributor.

Via a perforation in the maize distributor spare air can escape via the exits of the main distributors which are not used - for a good lateral distribution.

Maize distributor double row

The illustration shows the row distribution for 60 cm double rows.

Black lines: seed row spacing 15 cm.

Red marks: seed rows that are used for sowing maize - all other rows remain free from seed.
Double rows with a spacing of 60 cm (from one double row centre to the next one).

Blue marks: show the arrangement of PPF fertilizer coulters (if fitted).
One PPF fertilizer coulter respectively supplies one seed coulter.

Seed coulter arrangement

The seed is placed into consolidated soil. Every seed coulter is arranged behind a packer ring (row spacing 15 cm). Thus, it is possible to place the seed in uniform conditions over the whole working width.

Options

Press wheels 7,5 cm

Only recommended on very light soils. Equipped as standard with carbide-covered scrapers. Soil does not build up - the outer diametre of the wheels thus always stays the same, and the seed depth cannot change.

Pre-emergence marker

Are mounted directly at the TurboDisc seed coulter. The depth is controlled via a press wheel.
The desired track width has to be indicated when ordering.
The aggressivity of the pre-emergence marker is adjusted via a depth stop.

Hydr. coulter pressure adjustment

Recommended on very changing soils.
The basic adjustment is made by means of the crank. Via the hydraulic cylinders the coulter pressure can be increased while driving, e.g. on heavy subareas.
At the same time the coupling to the seed quantity regulation allows for an automatic changing of the placed seed quantity.

Track eradicator discs

Two disc pairs which are mounted in such a way that they run in each disc row behind the tractor tracks.
Can be adjusted more deeply to loosen the tractor tines. Absolutely resistant to cloggings compared to track eradicator tines.

Front packer

Due to the levelling effect in combination with consolidation it is possible to reduce the working depth of the disc harrow and thus to save power and diesel.

Intermediate axle packer

If the tractor is equipped with wide-base tyres or twin tyres, consolidation over the whole working width can be achieved even by only using the intermediate axle packer.

Fertilizer disc coulters

Fertilizer coulters in a one-disc design. With integrated drag coulter which among others acts as a scraper. The open design allows for a high clearance and a low clogging tendency.
Maintenance-free oil-bath bearings. The disc supports are mounted in rubber elements.

Container micro-granulate

The micro-granulate hopper is integrated completely into the seed hopper of the Pronto.
The filling is made via the feed opening of the seed hopper.

Functioning micro-granular unit

Its pneum. system is integrated into the pneum. system of the Pronto. The micro-granulate is led into the seed current after the main metering unit and is - together with the seed - distributed to the seed coulters via the distribution tower.
It is operated via the terminal of the DrillManagers.

Intermediate axle packer 7.50-16 / Ø 78 cm

For depth control and consolidation between the tractor tracks.
Makes sense if the tractor has twin or terra tyres. An all-over levelling and consolidation over the working width of 6 m, however, is not possible.

Intermediate axle and side packer 7.50-16 / Ø 78 cmm

For an even consolidation over the working width. Due to the levelling effect it is possible to reduce the working depth of the disc harrow and, thus, to save power and fuel.

Drawbar extension 800 mm

Optional for SW 3500 S with lower link linkage. Allows for a very tight turning with twin or terra tyres.

Drawbar linkage

Also with Scharmüller coupling Ø 80 mm.
The SW 3500 S is lifted at the rear via the chassis and at the front via the hydr. drawbar.

1-row hydr. Crossbar

Not possible with PPF fertilizer coulters or hydr. filling auger. Makes sense when sowing on roughly ploughed soils. Not required for mulch seed. High horsepower requirement.
Is placed between the DiscSystem and the chassis. The aggressivity can be adjusted steplessly hydr.

Harrow behind 1-row DiscSystem

Not possible with  PPF fertilizer coulters or hydr. filling auger.

The harrow breaks the earth current which is created by the DiscSystem and thus encourages the crumbling and levelling in front of the packer. Recommended on light soils.
The adjustment is made mechanically via a hole matrix.

Electric half-width shut-off

Cannot be combined with PPF system, Grain & Fertilizer system or micro-granular unit.
In case of an electric half-width shut-off the Pronto 6 AS is equipped with two distribution towers.
It is operated via the terminal of the DrillManager.
By moving a valve the servomotor blocks one distribution tower. The DrillManager automatically reduces the seed quantity by 50%.

PPF system

One fertilizer coulter supplies two seed coulters. The fertilizer coulters are arranged centrally in front of one tyre. The fertilizer thus is placed in the middle between two seed rows.
To be able to place the fertilizer below the seed, the fertilizer coulters can be charged with a coulter pressure of up to 200 kg.

Hydr. filling auger

Output 400 kg/min. Only available for single hopper version and for double hopper version Grain & Fertilizer.
Cannot be combined with Crossbar or 1-row harrow. Output 400 kg/min.
Is attached at the level of the chassis and thus optimally accessible.

Micro-granular unit

Not possible with PPF system or electric half-width shut-off.
Allows for the placement of micro-granulate directly into the seed furrow (e.g. insecticides).
The granulate is placed in the seed furrow together with the seed.

Max. placement quantity approx. 10 kg/ha.
